7 Days in Tanzania

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Morning:

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).

Transfer to Arusha (about a 1-hour drive) and check in at your hotel.

Relax and acclimatize after your flight.

Afternoon:

Visit the Arusha National Park for a short game drive and a glimpse of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and monkeys. The park also offers beautiful views of Mount Meru.

Evening:

Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Arusha.

Accommodation: Hotel in Arusha.


Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Morning:

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (about a 2-hour drive).

Start your game drive in the park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees.

Afternoon:

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park or at a designated area.

Continue your safari in Tarangire, spotting lions, wildebeests, and other wildlife.

Evening:

Check into your lodge or tented camp for the night.

Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater

Morning:

After breakfast, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (about 2 hours).

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of game viewing. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to a variety of animals, including lions, rhinos, and buffaloes.

Afternoon:

Enjoy a packed lunch in the crater before continuing your game drive.

Evening:

Return to your lodge at the edge of the crater.

Dinner at the lodge.

Accommodation: Lodge near Ngorongoro Crater.


Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

Morning:

After breakfast, drive towards Serengeti National Park (about a 4-hour drive), stopping for game viewing along the way.

Afternoon:

Arrive in Serengeti and start a game drive as you explore the endless plains of the park.

Serengeti is known for the Great Migration (in season) and a high concentration of predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Evening:

Check into your lodge or tented camp.

Enjoy a sunset game drive if time allows.

Accommodation: Luxury tented camp or lodge in Serengeti.


Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti

Morning:

Early morning game drive in Serengeti for the best chances to see wildlife, including the "Big Five."

Afternoon:

Return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest.

Afternoon game drive in different parts of the Serengeti.

Evening:

Return to your lodge and enjoy a traditional Tanzanian dinner.

Accommodation: Same as Day 4.


Day 6: Serengeti to Zanzibar

Morning:

After a morning game drive, fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar (via Arusha). Flight time is about 1–1.5 hours.

Afternoon:

Arrive in Zanzibar, transfer to your beach resort in Nungwi or Kendwa.

Relax on the beach and enjoy the beautiful clear waters.

Evening:

Sunset beach walk followed by dinner at a seaside restaurant.

Accommodation: Beach resort in Zanzibar.


Day 7: Zanzibar Exploration and Departure

Morning:

Explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can visit the House of Wonders, Freddie Mercury’s House, and the Old Fort.

Optional visit to Prison Island to see giant tortoises and enjoy snorkeling.

Afternoon:

Visit a spice plantation for a guided spice tour or relax on the beach.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Stone Town or on the beach.

Evening:

Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your departure flight back to your home destination.

3 Days Arusha Moshi

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Morning:

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or by Bus

Transfer to your hotel in Arusha.

Check-in and relax after the journey.

Afternoon:

Visit the Arusha National Park. A 4-5 hour tour to explore the park, with a possibility of seeing wildlife like giraffes, zebras, and monkeys, plus the beautiful Ngurdoto Crater and Momella Lakes.

Evening:

Return to your hotel in Arusha for dinner and rest.

Accommodation: Mid-range hotel in Arusha (e.g., Arusha Serena Hotel or similar).

Day 2: Arusha to Moshi – Kilimanjaro Experience

Morning:

After breakfast, depart for Moshi (around 1.5 to 2 hours drive).

Stop at the Materuni Waterfalls near Moshi, take a short hike, and enjoy a local coffee tour at the nearby coffee farm.

Afternoon:

Lunch in Moshi.

Visit Kilimanjaro Viewing Point for stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting).

Optional visit to the Chagga Village to learn about the indigenous Chagga culture.

Evening:

Return to Arusha for the night or stay overnight in Moshi, depending on the guest’s preference.

Accommodation: Mid-range hotel in Moshi or Arusha (e.g., Keys Hotels Moshi or similar).

Day 3: Departure / Optional Kilimanjaro Adventure

Morning:

For guests interested in trekking, offer a half-day Kilimanjaro Trekking Experience (i.e., start a trek on Marangu Route or walk around the base).

Afternoon:

Depending on the guest’s flight time, transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for departure.
