Three days in Maasai Mara
The Maasai Mara National Reserve, located in southwestern Kenya, is one of Africa's premier safari destinations. Known for its breathtaking landscapes of open savannahs dotted with acacia trees, it forms the northern extension of theSerengeti ecosystem, creating a vast wildlife haven.
What you will gain on this trip includes:
Wildlife Abundance: Home to the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 450 bird species.
Great Migration in the months of July to October. Famous for the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, often referred to as the "World Cup of Wildlife." This spectacle typically occurs between July and October.
Cultural Experience: The Maasai Mara is named after the Maasai people, who live in harmony with the reserve. Visitors can engage with the Maasai to learn about their traditional way of life and vibrant culture.
Scenic Beauty: The reserve features rolling hills, vast plains, and the Mara and Talek rivers, which sustain its rich biodiversity.
Adventure Activities: Popular activities include game drives, hot air balloon safaris, guided bush walks, and visits to Maasai villages.
